Bought this for a Switzerland trip in November, so I have not tested it for the cold. I thought about returning it due to the thinness, but I like the jacket and will probably give it a shot. And it did puff slightly after a couple of days in the closet. It's 85% duck down, has pull tabs at the bottom to tighten it, and a hood. Sleeves are a little long, but I'm 4'11 and that's normal for me. The Sleeves do have elastic. I gave it a spritz and the water did bead up, although it may not be an all rain jacket. I read reviews which states they "cut" the pouch off of the loop. Not necessary as it's just looped around the hanger loop. It has two hand (zipper) pockets, one chest (zipper) pocket and two interior (non zipper) pockets. I am curious to see if the silver lining keeps the warmth in, it wraps the lower portion of the jacket. I ordered a medium to be able to layer if needed. I already have packable jackets in small that fit snug. They do give you a month to return it, if needed. Overall, it seems like a keeper! Please see pictures.

So happy that it’s waterproof. Water beads off & rolls off jacket. I have a similar cheaper jacket from a warehouse distributor where the material feels the same but just absorbs water. This Amazon jacket is better quality. After wearing it a few times, it definitely protects from the cold, rain & wind. And it’s light weight which is perfect for layering. It folds neatly into a small provided bag which is very convenient for travel. The size I got fits exactly as expected especially with the waist toggles that helps shape it better for me. Love the deep colored purple color which turns to lighter shade in daylight. In conclusion, jacket is functional & is better looking than the pictures.

I love, love, love this coat! I live in the panhandle of FL and we don’t get bitter cold so this coat is perfect for winter here. It’s super lightweight but very warm and totally blocks the wind. It’s super runs true to size, is super comfortable and a great price. I highly recommend getting it.

Comfortable Very light weight jacket. Seems pretty warm , I can wear it all day at a desk job, doesn't get in the way. Only issue if at all, the sleeves should be a little longer, but not a deal breaker. I'll keep it.

This was a great purchase for a recent trip to Scotland and Ireland. First, it packs nice and small making it practical for travel. It also provided the perfect amount of warmth, especially when paired with a waterproof shell. The combination gave me the perfect amount of layering versatility. The fact that the hood is removable was key, as well. When I did wear it with a hooded rain coat over it, removing the hood both made the combination less bulky and prevented the possibility of the hood getting wet and drawing moisture downward soaking the jacket.
The fit is more flattering than most. The grey color has a slight hint of brown to it but not enough to put me off. It’s just a warm shade of grey. All-in-all, this was a great purchase especially for the price.
